The United Way North East Ontario has named Guy Fournier as the North Bay senior of the year.

Mayor Al McDonald says Fournier (standing next to mayor) is a local champion who loves the city.

Fournier played a key role is establishing a United Way office in North Bay and served as the organization’s incoming president.

Fournier is also a big supporter of Les Compagnons.
