North Bay Police have charged a 13 year old boy with two counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and 1 count of assault with a weapon.

The charges were laid following an incident at W.J. Fricker school on Wednesday.

Police say a boy brandished a knife in front of staff.

No one was injured.

The school was put in a hold and secure situation for a short time.
