The head coach of the Nipissing Lakers Men’s Volleyball Team, Eric Yung, will be in Taiwan in August.

He’ll be there as an assistant coach for Team Canada at the FISU Universiade Games.

The competition is from August 19th-30th.

He says it’s an honour to represent Canada and it’s a great opportunity to work with many top athletes and coaches.

Yung has been head coach of the Lakers for eight years and has already been named OCAA coach of the year and nominated as CCAA coach of the year.

He also led the Lakers to provincial and national championships in 2013.
