Two men, a 37 year old from Brampton man and a 51 year old from Kitchener face possession for the purpose of trafficking charges in West Nipissing.

This after officers discovered cash and 150 oxycodone pills during a traffic stop in Sturgeon Falls.

 

Meantime, police discovered cash, methamphetamine pills, marijuana and other drugs in the recent execution of a search warrant.

That was also in Sturgeon Falls.

Four people, 3 men and 1 woman, are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking counts.

 

Also of note, a 31 year old man has been charged by West Nipissing Police with assault.

Police say they were following up on a complaint from a female who said that her boyfriend had struck her.

Police say the woman was thrown to the ground and struck in the facial area.

 

And a 21 year old male has been arrested in connection with another incident in which the sister of the man was struck and had her life threatened.
