Three more musical acts have been announced for Summer In The Park.

Amanda Marshall, Darenots and Headstones are all performing on Saturday, August 5th.

“We’re very pleased to have iconic Canadian female rocker, Amanda Marshall, performing in this year’s festival lineup,” said Summer in the Park Committee Member, Derek Shogren. “What a great way to celebrate the civic long weekend in August and Canada’s 150th birthday”.

Officials say Toronto’s Darenots skillfully combine the best of hip-hop, reggae, trap, and rock with earworm hooks.

“Darenots bring a unique sound and a new genre of music to the festival on Saturday night,” said Summer in the Park Committee Member, Charles Elliott.

Headstones (pictured above) are a Canadian punk-influenced alternative rock band.

“This is pure, unadulterated rock with attitude,” said Summer in the Park Committee Member, Jeff Serran. “Saturday night will blow your hair back and bring back memories for those of us who remember the alt -rock and punk eras”.

Wrist bands are only $35 including HST until July 1st and covers the cost of the entire festival weekend.
