Motorists in North Bay are doling out more money for gasoline.

The price for regular is up about nine cents around the city.

The average price for a litre of regular is now about $1.13 at most fueling pumps.

That’s about 7 cents more expensive than the provincial average.

According to the Energy Ministry the price last year at this time in North Bay was about $1.07 per litre, which is also the national average today.
