The North Bay Battalion and Guelph Storm have traded two players each.

The Troops have acquired forwards Luke Burghardt and Luke Moncada.

Heading to Guelph are right winger Zach Poirier, defenceman Mark Shoemaker and a conditional third-round pick in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection.

The pick reverts to North Bay if Shoemaker plays as an overager in 2017-18.

Burghardt, a 19-year-old resident of Bowmanville had nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points in 53 games last season.

17 year old Left winger Moncada, who is from Toronto, had five assists in 37 games in his rookie season with the Storm.

Meantime, the complete exhibition schedule for the North Bay Battalion has been confirmed by the OHL.

The Battalion will play 3 games in the OHL showcase in Buffalo, New York.

The games will be against Kitchener on September 1st, Windsor on Sept 2nd and Flint on September 3rd.

They also visit Sudbury on September 13th and have a home and home with Owen Sound on September 16th and 17th with that last game in North Bay.
