North Bay City Council heard two presentations at this weeks council meeting on the noise eminating from The Boat Restaurant on the waterfront.

Nancy Avery says it’s especially bad 3 nights a week between the long weekend in May and throughout the summer.

She says she lives in a high rise on Main Street.

She says she doesn’t know what the answer is but she hopes the city can help her find a solution for herself and the business owner.

Avery says she doesn’t want the business to shut down but something needs to happen.

Avery says this isn’t the first time they’ve raised this issue as the police have been contacted before and the mayor too.

Avery says they thought everything was going to be fine after the mayor talked to the owners but the loud noise came back last Saturday.
