OPP are looking for a three-peat when it comes to the Canada Day long weekend.

Police say there haven’t been any fatalities on OPP patrolled roadways in the past two Canada Day long weekends, and they’re hoping that trend continues this weekend.

OPP say everyone plays a role, with drivers being asked to share the road with others.

Police say they can’t do it alone.

OPP will be increasing their presence on provincial highways, targeting speed and aggressive driving along with impaired and distracted driving, too.
