A 37 year old city man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

The charges were laid after police executed a search warrant at a Fraser Street residence.

Police seized 457 5 mg oxycodone pills, 40 grams marihuana and 41 grans of methamphetamine tablets and an e bike. The street value of the items seized is over $6,000.

Also, a 31 year old Barrie man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking in a substance and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say they made arrangements to meet a man for the purpose of purchasing drugs after learning that an unknown male from Southern Ontario was coming to North Bay to sell drugs.

Police seized 22 grams of cocaine with a street value of $2700 and nearly $1400 in Canadian currency.
And a 21 year old city male has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and flight from police.

Police say last night around 9:30 they received reports of a possible impaired driver in the Main Street area of the city.

The vehicle was located on Cassells but it fled the area, struck 2 buildings and stopped after colliding into a garage.

The occupants fled but were located a short time later.
