Green tops White at Battalion training camp, Voodoos in Noelville tonight

44 hopefuls took to the ice yesterday (Tuesday) for the first intrasquad game at North Bay Battalion training camp.

Team Green scored three goals in the third to win 5-3 over Team White.

Adam McMaster and Daniil Vertiy each scored twice for Team Green in the win.

Another intrasquad game goes this afternoon at 4pm at Memorial Gardens, with no cost to public.

The pre-season starts tonight for the Powassan Voodoos, with a game against French River in Noelville.

Powassan is then home to the OJHL’s Kingston Voyageurs tomorrow afternoon at 2 pm, then entertains French River on Friday afternoon.

The defending NOJHL champs begin the regular season Friday, September 8th with a matchup against Kirkland Lake at the Powassan Sportsplex.
