If you have thoughts on growing the city’s economy Invest North Bay and the city’s Economic Development Department want to hear from you.

They’ve set up an online survey, that only takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Invest North Bay Development Corporation President George Burton say it’s all a part of prep work for a strategic plan that will guide economic development efforts for the next three years.

He says they want to hear what people think the priorities should be.

“Shoud our priority be workforce development, marketing the city, supports for entrepreneurs, what are the best attributes of the city that should be involved if marketing is deemed the primary need. Or should it be some other thing that we haven’t thought of,” he says.

Burton says they’re looking to create a plan with actionable items.

“The survey that we’re conducting is more to help us develop specific tactics or the ‘to do’ list, I’ll put it that way, rather than just gather general themes which has been past practice,” he says.

The survey (CLICK HERE) will be posted online for the next three weeks.
