Garth Brooks has announced plans for a five-part multimedia series, “Garth Brooks: The Anthology”, which will take readers inside Brooks’ career and rise to country superstardom. Part 1 of the anthology, due out on Nov. 14, is titled “The First Five Years” and will be an in-depth look at the first five years of Brooks’ career, as told by Brooks and those involved with his career during that time.

According to a press release, “You are there as “The Thunder Rolls” is recorded and about to be released by another artist. When “Friends in Low Places” and “The Dance” are almost never recorded at all!”

Accompanying “The First Five Years” will be a set of five CDs, containing never-before-released demos, outtakes and early songs, including two different masters of “That Summer” and Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood‘s very first collaboration. Additionally, more than 150 never-before-seen photos will be included as well.
