For the 2nd straight day the North Bay Battalion completed a trade with the Owen Sound Attack..

After trading defenceman Brady Lyle for goalie Christian Propp on Sunday, the Troops dealt a 15th round pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection for defenceman Nick King (pictured) on Monday.

King, a six-foot-two, 175-pound left shot who turned 18 on Jan. 13 was selected by the Attack in the 10th round in 2015 from the Waterloo Wolves minor midgets.

In 40 games with Owen Sound this season and last, King had three assists and six penalty minutes.

The Attack and Troops also swapped picks in the Lyle-Propp deal with North Bay getting a 2020 10th rounder and Owen Sound receiving a 2020 7th rounder.

Propp is expected to become the number one goalie for North Bay, backed up by Julian Sime.

Christian Purboo has been returned to the Oakville Blades of the OJHL, while Matt Woroniuk has been placed on waivers.
