The District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board is reaching out to local Sears employees who are being impacted by the closure of the local Sears store.

Chair Mark King says the Nipissing Career Hub will be available to anyone impacted by the impending closure.

The Hub helps people look for work in several ways including searching for jobs, preparing for interviews and updating their resume.

It’s located on the main floor at City Hall and is open from noon-4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Meantime, employees are encouraged to check out www.gettrainedworkers.com to see what jobs are available.

Another option is to check out the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
