A 60 year old North Bay man has been issued a 3 day licence suspension and had his vehicle towed as well.

Police say around 10:30 Wednesday morning, a vehicle was stopped on Highway 11 in East Ferris Township because the driver didn’t move over for an emergency vehicle.

Police say they smelled an odour of alcohol coming from the driver’s breath.

Around the same time,, Mattawa OPP received a complaint of a vehicle speeding, swerving and crossing the centre line.

Again, when officers stopped the vehicle in Mattawa they smelled an odour of alcohol.

A 24 year old Sudbury man has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in the blood.

He also loses his licence for 90 days and gets his vehicle impounded for 7.
