Local artist Jack Lockhart has been plying his craft for half a century and on Sunday you’ll get a chance to see what he’s done.

He’s putting on his own show at the Davedi Club from 10-4.

He says there’ll be 140 pieces of work with a good variety.

“I’ve done a number of different styles in art in both oil water colour and acrylic. Everything from realism to the abstract. It’s really something for everybody.”
Lockhart says he does different genres of art to keep things fresh.

He says if you stick to one throughout you get bored after a while.

In the last couple of years the Battalion have hired him to do portraits of their graduating players.

He says it started with goalie Jake Smith and has continued from there.
