Another foot of snow has accumulated on the ground since the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority’s last snow survey in mid-December.

The latest figures, collected Tuesday, show near-normal snow depth around the area.

There’s just under 32 cm of snow in North Bay, which is slightly above average.

Corbeil’s nearly 30 cm is right around the norm, while in Chisholm snow depth is slightly below average for this time of year.

Water content in the snow is near-normal in North Bay and about 30 per cent below average in Corbeil and Chisholm.
