For a ninth year dance workshops are taking place in the city involving professional choreographers.

It’s called 3-2-1 Dance.

They’re holding workshops today and tomorrow, with a performance Thursday night at the Capitol Centre.

The program is being offered thanks to Ontario Arts Council funding through OntarioDances.

The community outreach component promotes dance by building on existing audiences while creating new audiences within the catchment area of the Capitol Centre.

One of the five workshops is open to the public and takes place tonight (Tuesday).
