On the 4th of June 2017 the North Bay Police Service responded to a call at a business location on Mountainview Drive in North Bay.

 

Unknown individuals caused damage to several vehicles both inside and outside the business location by smashing windows and spray painting vehicles. The inside of the business was also ransacked. The total damage to the vehicles and business location was estimated at $50,000 dollars. The culprits spray painted “K Z “references in several locations inside the building.

 

Following the initial report the investigation was delegated to the North Bay Police Service Street Crime Unit.

A lengthy investigation resulted in the identification and arrest of three youths from the North Bay area.

 

All three Youths are charged with:

  • One count of Break and Enter
  • One count Mischief Over $5000 Dollars

 

All three youths were released from custody and will appear in the North Bay courthouse on April 16, 2018.

Police believe the K Z refers to a “K Z Klan”, a now defunct group of gamers, all youths from the North Bay area.

The investigation is continuing.
