Hospital workers across the province will be holding rallies today (Wednesday), including here in North Bay.

It’s all a part of escalating actions that 75,000 hospital workers, who are without a contract, are taking part in this April.

The campaign is called “Together for Respect”.

Union officials say hospital staff at more than 100 healthcare facilities in Ontario are seeking a fair contract without concessions.

They’re optimistic that a new deal can be reached with talks resuming this weekend.
