At least a dozen projects in the area received Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Funding.
The program coincided with celebrating the country’s 150th birthday last year and supported 167 community projects, including upgrades to parks, playgrounds, recreation trails, community centres and cultural facilities in towns, cities and First Nations across the North.
The CIP 150 came to a close on March 31, 2018.
