The province’s Special Investigation Unit has determined there are no reasonable grounds to file charges against a West Nipissing Police Officer after an incident in April 2017.

The SIU says an 18 year old man, in an attempt to elude police, climbed out of a second story window and fell to the ground, injuring his lower back.

The report says officers had only knocked on the apartment door and announced their presence at that time.
