North Bay Police are requesting the public’s assistance with any information regarding a fence fire.

On June 13th 2018 shortly after 3 pm the North Bay Police responded to a call in the Marshall Avenue and Prince Edward Drive area of North Bay to a residence that backs onto the bike path. The resident was alerted by someone passing by that a section of his wooden fence was on fire. It was extinguished and a four foot section of the wooden fence was damaged. Footprints suggest someone had recently been walking from the bike path to the area of the fire.

Police have not determined the cause of the fire and are asking anyone with information that may assist in this investigation to call the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 and select option 9 to speak to a police officer.
