North Bay OPP want everyone to arrive safely at their destination this long weekend, with aggressive driving being one target for provincial police this weekend.

The ‘big four’ behaviours that police say remain a serious public safety issue include aggressive, impaired and distracted driving along with seatbelt usage.

North Bay OPP say they’ve investigated over 300 motor vehicle collisions, including 4 fatal collisions, this year.

They say speeding, following too closely, making unsafe lane changes and failing to yield right-of-way are all forms of aggressive driving that place road users at risk.
