Meantime, the clerk has certified the 2018 municipal election candidates in North Bay.

There are 5 mayoral candidates, 26 council candidates, 8 candidates for Near North District School Board trustee, 4 for the French Catholic School Board and 3 for the French Public School Board.

The 4 candidates for the Nipissing Parry Sound District Catholic School Board have been acclaimed.
