North Bay Police would like to thank the citizen who took the time to call police to report a suspicious person on Oak Street in North Bay last night.

Shortly after 9:30 last night police were alerted by a concerned citizen of a man trying to gain entry into a business on Oak Street in North Bay. Police attended the scene however the man had fled on foot just prior to the arrival of Officers.

The man is described as;

  • Younger male with a thin build, medium height
  • Wearing a sleeveless orange shirt , dark shorts and a hat

Nothing was stolen or damaged.

North Bay Police commend the caller for taking the time to get involved in protecting our community. We respond to calls like these and this caller stopped a criminal act.
