West Nipissing Police say there have been more reports of counterfeit bills being circulated in West Nipissing.

Police say three more local businesses have reported that $20 and $100 American bills are the currency being used in fraudulent funds being circulated.

A male suspect in one of the complaints is described as being in his ’30’s and driving a small grey car.

Another suspect in another incident is described as an older man driving a green pick up.

And a 3rd suspect in another report is in his ’30’s, wearing a blue and white jersey shirt and a black hat.

Cashiers are advised to examine the money carefully when accepting payment and if you’re not sure whether the money’s legitimate request another form of payment or call police.
