North Bay Police are looking to identify a man after a woman’s credit card was stolen from her purse in mid-July then used at a local bank to withdraw several hundred dollars.

They say on Friday July 13th 2018 at approximately 10 am, the victim purchased several items at a department store in the east end of the city, using the credit card and shortly after the credit card was stolen from her purse.

The police investigation identified a male suspect who, later that day, attended a bank in North Bay and withdrew cash using the credit card.

Police remind the public to report a lost or stolen card as soon as you notice it is gone and regularly check transactions online or on your monthly statement.

Anyone with information that may assist police with this investigation is asked to call the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 and select option 9 to speak to a police officer.
