The first week of school wraps up today (Friday) and Mattawa OPP have already issued two tickets to drivers for failing to stop for the school bus this week.

The first ticket was issued before 8:30 am on Tuesday, the first day of school.

The second was issued Wednesday afternoon just before 3:30 pm.

Police reminder drivers to be extra vigilant and be prepared to stop for school buses.
