Chippewa's dance teacher now an IB examiner

Chippewa Secondary School’s dance teacher has been appointed an Examiner by the International Baccalaureate World School.

Andrea Lefebvre will work in the Diploma/Career related program in Dance Education.

Officials say the role of examiner is highly valued and the IB places emphasis on the professional integrity of individuals in examining positions.

They mark externally-assessed work or moderate internally-assessed components.

Candidates’ work is assessed against prescribed and well-defined criteria or marking schemes.
