A couple of messages from local organizations with the possibility of rotating mail strikes starting next week.

North Bay Hydro says customers need to remember they are still responsible for bill payments on the due date.

They suggest customers make sure all of their contact information is up to date with North Bay Hydro and they can also sign up for e-billing.

Meantime, the District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board says in the event of a postal strike, clients, landlords and vendors who normally receive benefits by mail will have to go to their local Ontario Works Office to pick up payment in person.

Officials say photo ID will be required.
