Local companies recognized for Workplace Safety

Those workplaces that are concerned about a strong safety culture have been recognized by Workplace Safety North. Among the excellence award winners were local companies Cementation Canada and Nordic Minesteel Technologies. All the winners in this category were considered for the president’s award for health and safety excellence. Workplace Safety North is a provincial health and safety association for mining, forestry, and paper, printing, and converting sectors.
