The Powassan Voodoos have added to their offense.

They’ve acquired forward Samuel Bourdages (pictured below) from the Lac St.Louis Revolution of the Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League for a development fee.

The 19 year old, who’s from Hearst, has six goals and six assists in 15 games and was recently named to the QJHL all-star team before the trade.

Voodoos GM Chris Dawson says Bourdages has been on Powassan’s radar since his midget days with the Kapuskasing Flyers.

“Samuel was a player we recruited after a dominant season with the Flyers in 2017-18,” stated Dawson in a release. “He elected to join his hometown team in Hearst’s first season in the NOJHL. We are thrilled to add a player of his ability to our already talented group of forwards.”

The Voodoos also moved the rights of forward Curtis Abbott to Brockville for a development fee.

They also announced forward Rico Rossi, who signed as a free agent two weeks ago, joins the club for the rest of the season.

Powassan is home to French River tomorrow night (Thursday).
