It wasn’t the start to their weekend road trip the Battalion were hoping for.

North Bay dropped a 4-1 decision to the Petes in Peterborough last night (Thursday).

Adam McMaster scored the Troops only goal.

The Battalion are back in action tonight in Kingston, at 6:55 pm on Country 600 CKAT.

Meantime, Battalion defenceman David Maier (pictured above) has joined the Austrian national team for the second-tier world junior championship.

The event goes Dec. 9-15 in Fussen, Germany.
