The North Bay Battalion have another three game weekend road trip this weekend, starting tonight (Friday) in Kitchener.

The team is hoping for better results this weekend after going 0-3 last weekend.

Acting head coach Adam Dennis is looking for more consistent play.

“It’s a weekend that we’re going to approach no differently than we did last weekend. I think the stakes go up as the season goes on. It’s going to be a business trip and we’re looking to bring home some points,” he says.

Dennis is looking for a complete 60 minute effort.

“I think consistency is the biggest thing. We have too many blips in our games right now. Whether it’s 5 minutes, one period or 20 seconds the lapses get you and we’ve been a victim to that,” Dennis says.

The Battalion also travel to St Catharine’s to play Niagara tomorrow, then visit Hamilton on Sunday afternoon.

Meantime, Luke Burghardt may play for the Troops.

He retired earlier this year, but has received medical clearance to get back on the ice and was at practice again on Thursday.

Catch tonight’s game in Kitchener on Country 600, starting at 7:25 pm.
