Deer kill in Laurier Woods reported to Conservation Authority

The Conservation Authority says a hiker has reported a deer kill in the Laurier Woods Conservation Area by a wolf or possibly a coyote.

In a social media post they’re reminding visitors to keep their dogs on a leash while on the trails for the safety of everyone.

Officials also say the deer kill is not unusual considering Laurier Woods is a 240 acre conservation area that borders on crown land.
