Most stores open for Boxing Day while government offices are closed

Boxing Day is a stat holiday, but there’s plenty of shopping going on.

Most retail outlets are open for one of the busiest shopping days of the year, but government offices are shut down for a second straight day.

This after Christmas yesterday.

There is garbage and recycling pick-up today, however, because there was none yesterday it’s delayed a day for the rest of the week.

North Bay Transit buses are also running today on a Sunday/Holiday Service schedule.
