City man charged with luring a child

North Bay Police have charged a 45 year old city man with luring a child.

Police say the lengthy investigation started last August.

It’s alleged social media communications were involved, which begin in 2015 between the man and a 13 year old.

Police say the youth shared numerous images and videos that would meet the criminal code definition of child pornography.

Several devices including a computer were seized yesterday (Tuesday).

The investigation continues.

Police say to protect the identity of potential victims, they won’t be releasing the name of the accused at this time.
