Over 100 northern mining supply and service companies, including 14 from the North Bay area, stand to benefit from taking part in an international mining conference in Toronto.

PDAC 2019 runs through March 6th.

Officials say by being a part of the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase, the companies will be able to connect with visitors from over 120 countries at the event.

They say companies at last year’s event were drumming up sales, partnerships and creating new jobs.

The 2018 event resulted in 158 new partnerships, 179 new jobs being created and over $30 million in sales.
