St. Joseph-Scollard Hall won NOSSA silver after losing the girls hockey final 3-2 to Sudbury’s Lo-Ellen Park Tuesday at Pete Palangio Arena.

Both teams advance to OFSAA next week.

The Algonquin Barons finished 1-2 at the NOSSA ‘A/AA’ boys hockey tournament in Sudbury after losing their final round robin game.

Widdifield has advanced to the seminfinals at the OFSAA girls ‘AA’ volleyball championship in Amherstburg.

After going 3-1 in round robin play, they won their quarterfinal match 3-0 over a school from Hamilton.

The Wildcats take on a Burlington school in today’s semifinal.

At the OFSAA ‘A’ girls volleyball championship in Kenora, Algonquin plays in the consolation semifinals this morning against Timmins High.
