$300,000 worth of marijuana has been seized by North Bay Police.

A vehicle was stopped yesterday (Sunday) on Highway 11 in North Bay, as a part of a Street Crimes Unit investigation, and led to 115 pounds of marijuana being seized.

A 53 year old person from Caladonia is charged with possession for the purpose of distributing cannabis and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.

$2,450 in Canadian cash was also seized.

 

Meantime, North Bay Police are investigating a break-in to a Delaware Avenue business overnight Friday into Saturday.

Police say a door was pried open and $1,000 in cash and three Flir Spot thermal imaging cameras were stolen.
