Regional mayors and CAO’s from about a dozen area communities are gathering today at North Bay City Hall.

They’re meeting to discuss a number of issues including economic development and shared services, infrastructure and the Northern Growth Plan.

Meantime, there’s a special committee meeting of council tonight.

Two items are up for discussion.

One is a report on a new Multi-Use Recreational Facility, which says there’s a need for two new ice pads, including one that would replace West Ferris Arena.

Also on the agenda is the Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee’s annual report.
