North Bay Police are investigating after a couple of vehicles were stolen in recent days.

Police say a 2012 4 door cobalt blue Honda Civic, Ontario license APHZ 465, was stolen from 1500 Fisher Street at about 5:45 pm yesterday (Thursday) after an unknown man started up a conversation with a woman.

The man reached into the victim’s coat pocket and grabbed the keys, then left and found her vehicle in the parking lot.

The suspect (pictured below) is described as:

  • 5’3-5’5 average build
  • Wearing a dark hooded jacket, black baseball cap with a red logo on the front.
  • Appeared to have some type of mark on the right side of his face.

No threats were made and there were no injuries.

 

Meantime, the second theft involves a 2018 Black Ford F150 Platinum, Ontario license AY56735.

The vehicle has a black plastic cover on the box and tinted windows.

It was parked outside a business on Pinewood Park Drive at approximately 10 pm on Wednesday May 1st and was discovered missing yesterday morning.

There are no suspects at this time.
