Crime down year to year in many areas in North Bay

Criminal offenses in North Bay show a decrease in most major areas year to year as of the end of March.

The numbers are lower in assaults, robberies, break and enters, drug charges and total criminal offenses.

The only area that shows an increase is sexual offenses which are up by two to 27.

Also up are calls for service. The total is over 6,300 which is about 150 more than the end of March last year.
