There’s still time to get involved in a Guinness World Record attempt later this week.

Nipissing’s Motorcycle Ride for Dad is teaming up with a few partners, including Cor Maximus, for a 30-minute, low-impact Swiss ball exercise class at the Canadore gym this coming Saturday.

Co-chair John Strang says anyone ages 8 to 80 can take part in the completely free event.

“The way that we are going to raise funds is that once we set the record on Saturday, June 8th, the participants can take their record-setting, brand new Swiss Ball home for a minimum $10 donation to the Nipissing Motorcycle Ride for Dad,” he says.

500 people are need to break the record.

“They can go to ballrecord.ca to register,” he says. “There’s no cost, you do not need to bring a Swiss ball with you, we will have 500 Swiss balls set up.”

On site registration take place this coming Saturday at 9 am, at the Canadore College gym, with the free beginner class starting at 11 am.

All monies raised go towards raising awareness and research in the fight against prostate cancer in Nipissing.

Officials say every dollar raised local, stays local.

Nipissing’s Motorcycle Ride For Dad goes June 15th.
