North Bay Police out with a reminder to watch the speed you’re driving.

There have been some complaints.

Police say with the improved weather comes with an increase in foot traffic and cyclists.

Police say young people are out and about and may be less safety oriented so motorists should take note.

Police say fines range for $2.50 per km over the speed limit to 6 demerit points and a 30 day licence suspension if you’re 50+ over the limit.

Police add they’re also watching for people talking, texting or emailing on their phones while driving.
