Voodoos sign scorer and two local goalies at national camp

The Powassan Voodoos have signed an offensive talent to their roster.

Ty Nicholson is coming off back to back 20 goal seasons with the Westport Rideaus of the CCHL2 league.

The Voodoos start their main training camp on August 23rd and expect to have Nicholson on hand.

A couple of local goaltenders are taking part in the Hockey Canada Program of Excellence Goaltending camp.

Corbeil’s Ben Gaudreau is among the U17 netminders and Powassan Voodoos goalie Joe Vrbetic is one of four U18 goalies at the camp.

The camp starts on Wednesday and wraps up on Saturday.
