For the 3rd time in over a week a harmful blue-green algae bloom has been found in the district covered by the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit.

Last week,  officials said a bloom had been found at Marathon Beach in North Bay and Centennial Park Beach in Callander.

Now comes word that a bloom has been found in Talon Lake in the Township of Bonfield and McQuaby Lake in the Township of Nipissing.

Also this week, a harmful algae bloom was found in Campbell’s Bay in Patterson Township and Simpson’s Bay in Nipissing.
