North Bay OPP say they’ve laid charges in five separate impaired driving offenses between last Thursday and Sunday.

Three occurred on Thursday and a 56 year old North Bay woman, a 37 year old North Bay woman and a 26 year old North Bay woman were charged with operating a vehicle while impaired.

Two of the incidents were by alcohol and one by drugs.

The other two took place on Saturday and Sunday.

A 37 year old Guelph man and a 57 year old North Bay male were charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol in those.

Of note: police say one of the drivers veered off the road on Highway 63 near Peninsula Road and was injured.

Police say she suffered non life threatening injuries.

Another incident resulted in the driver going the wrong way and striking a tractor trailer and she suffered non life threatening injuries.

Police say all of the accused were issued a 90-day Automatic Drivers Licence Suspension and the vehicles were impounded for seven days.

North Bay OPP say they’ve charged 32 motorists with impaired driving this year.
